Building global interim management expertise

There are several ways to build strong and reliable Interim and Transition Management expertise globally. Years ago, ADM chose to join a group of top local leaders in this field. Together, they became the leading Interim Management group worldwide. ADM’s satisfaction in being part of this journey is primarily tied to the ability to help clients find the best people for the most challenging tasks across borders.

Last week, as the elite of Interim and Transition Management gathered in Brussels, Alexander De Beir, newly appointed chairman of the WIL group, stated: “I am more convinced than ever of the strength of being part of a group that allows us to share our knowledge and expertise not only with clients in Belgium but also internationally, with a continuous focus on quality.”

Alexander emphasized the importance of cross-border and cross-cultural collaboration, summarizing the WIL group’s DNA, which ADM fully supports, as “serving instead of taking and adding value instead of destructing.” He was particularly pleased to host the conference in the heart of Europe, where several new European partners joined.

Alexander also highlighted the need for businesses worldwide to come closer, regardless of geopolitical or economic circumstances: “Small groups may polarize society, but the majority remains open and tolerant toward other cultures, beliefs and philosophies. I believe that most Americans, Europeans and Chinese people want to connect, trade and exchange goods and services.”

During the handover of the WIL group chair to Alexander, Jason Atkinson expressed pride in having around 45 delegates from across the globe, experts sharing ideas and perspectives, which he viewed as a great asset. “During these three days, there was a real buzz and optimism. So many new members, voices and ideas. Brussels is not only geographically central but rich in history and culture.”

Jason also described the conference as an ideal setting to build trust. “We are managing very complex, sensitive projects across countries. Every member has a voice in where we’re heading, and it’s crucial to gather input from all members.

WIL Group Executive Director Karlygash Abiyeva saw the conference as a valuable opportunity: “Each conference comes with its own challenges, reflecting local culture and markets, and attracting highly motivated local leaders. Throughout the congress, the atmosphere was enthusiastic and inspiring. We are diverse in both culture and business models, but we share the same values and objectives—for the benefit of all our clients!”
